Coaching for when you’re at a crossroads
One-to-one coaching, online, for adults who look fine from the outside but feel stuck, overwhelmed or unsure what comes next.
- “I should be further along by now.”
- “Everything is technically fine, so why does it feel like this?”
- “I keep making the same decision and getting the same result.”
- “I need to choose, and I can’t see clearly enough to do it.”
Where people often are when they first get in touch.
What coaching with me is like
Sessions are calm, confidential and practical. I don’t tell you what to do or try to fix you. I ask questions, notice patterns, and challenge you where it helps, so that the decisions you make are clearer and genuinely yours.
You don’t need to arrive knowing what you want to work on. Many people start because they don’t yet have that clarity, and the first sessions are about finding where to begin.
Each session ends with something concrete: a decision, a conversation to have, or a small change to try before we next meet. Insight matters, but only if it changes what you do.

Times. Sessions can be booked Monday to Saturday, 8am to 8pm UK time. The booking page shows times in your own time zone. If none of them work for you, email me and I’ll do my best to find another.
Payment. Payment details are sent with your booking confirmation. You can pay by card, PayPal or bank transfer.
Cancellations. Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or move a session. Sessions cancelled with less notice are charged in full.
The introductory call is a chance to talk about what’s going on and decide whether coaching with me is the right fit, with no commitment either way.
About me

I’m a marine scientist by training. I completed a PhD at Murdoch University and have spent years working in remote places, leading teams and making decisions under pressure, often far from home and from the usual support.
I also work as a guest presenter on expedition cruise ships, with companies such as Heritage Expeditions.
I trained in coaching and therapeutic coaching with Primal Intelligence. My approach centres on self-awareness, emotional honesty and taking responsibility for change.
That mix shapes how I work: grounded, practical and unhurried. I’m based between the UK and Bali and work with clients wherever they are.
Questions
What is coaching?
A structured conversation focused on clarity and action. Rather than giving advice, coaching helps you look honestly at your situation, your patterns and your options, and decide how you want to respond.
Who is it for?
Adults who feel stuck, uncertain or at a turning point, personally or professionally. Many clients are functioning well on the surface but feel disconnected, overwhelmed or unsure of their next step.
What happens in a session?
We talk about what matters most to you that week. Expect careful listening, honest reflection and some gentle challenge. Sessions finish with a clear next step.
How many sessions will I need?
It varies. Some people come for a handful of sessions around a specific decision; others prefer regular sessions over a few months. We review how it’s going as we go.
Is it confidential?
Yes. What you say in sessions stays between us. The only exception is where someone’s safety is at serious risk.
Is coaching the same as therapy?
No. Coaching does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions, and it isn’t crisis support. If therapy or counselling would serve you better, I’ll say so openly and help you think about where to go.
If you’re in crisis or worried about your safety, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis line straight away. In the UK, Samaritans are available any time on 116 123.
